As a Petfinder Member, you have exclusive access to grant support through the Petfinder Foundation. The Petfinder Foundation exists to keep adoptable pets physically and mentally healthy so they can find loving homes. Since its inception, the Petfinder Foundation has awarded over $25 million in cash and product grants to put food in bowls, provide medical care, and help animals in times of disaster.
To accomplish our shared mission of helping adoptable pets find loving families, the Petfinder Foundation focuses their grant programs in three core areas: Quality of Life, Disaster and Emergency Response, and Sponsor A Pet.

Petfinder Foundation Programs
Quality of Life Grants

Disaster and Emergency Response Grants
Help shelters and rescue groups recover in the wake of a disaster. Petfinder Foundation Disaster and Emergency Grants are awarded to members throughout the year in varying amounts up to $10,000 based on need.
Sponsor A Pet
Allows visitors to your pets’ profile pages to make donations that the Petfinder Foundation will pass through to your organization. Last year, Sponsor A Pet raised more than $560,000 to help support over 6,000 Petfinder Member adoption groups. Learn more at: Petfinder Foundation Sponsor A Pet
